Eppleton Quarry Products Limited was formed in 2001 and operates Eppleton Quarry at Houghton Le Spring, County Durham extracting premium building sand and Permian limestone products for use within the building and civil engineering industry.
Quarry extraction and mineral processing works are also undertaken for the majority of the major mineral extraction producers throughout the United Kingdom by Hall Construction. The Company has one of the UK’s largest fleet of plant and equipment capable of undertaking short and long term mineral extraction projects. Hall Construction has an excellent reputation for completing restoration works to quarries and opencast coal projects to the most exacting of standards.
Hall Construction have been developing and operating opencast coal sites since 1995. In 1997 Hall Construction acquired Coal Contractors Limited, a specialist opencast coal Company formed in 1951 which benefits from over 60 years experience in the extraction of coal and minerals throughout the United Kingdom.

HCSL are able to supply and deliver bulk aggregates for the construction and civil engineering industries. We quarry and process aggregates in accordance with Clients needs as well as to industry standards.
HCSL has an extensive fleet of crushers of various size and capacity together with associated screens for use within both quarries and construction sites.
We have an extensive fleet of plant and road haulage wagons which forms a key component of our business and is used across all of our divisions. Our fleet is available for short and long term hires at competitive rates.
