Bulk Earthworks remains the core business activity within Hall Construction Services Limited and the company is renowned within the industry as one of the leading specialists within Northern England and Scotland. Hall’s have developed long term relationships built up over 35 years of working for the likes of Local Authorities, Tier 1 Contractors and Private developers. With an extensive privately owned fleet of plant we are capable of working on all sized projects involving bulk earthworks, remediation, contaminated land and the import and spreading of materials including the supply of aggregates.

Hall Construction Services Limited continually work with Clients on bulk earthworks projects suggesting remediation strategies including alternative ways of working to achieve savings and where possible alleviating disposal of material from sites. When working with Clients on vast bulk earthworks projects Hall Construction Services Limited try to reduce cut and fill volumes; on Wind Farm projects for example, especially when designing haul roads to reduce the import of aggregate material.

Hall Construction Services Limited also work within quarries for and on behalf of international Clients such as Saint Gobain Formula where current bulk earthworks are being carried out in Newark, Bantycock. Halls also undertake work within the group of companies quarry – Eppleton, as well as extracting material from borrow pits for use on sites as well large open cast sites.

HCSL has its own in-house engineering service, offering surveying, full setting out from electronic formats and completed drawings. In addition we operate modern plant and equipment including cutting edge 3D GPS/TPS controlled excavators and bulldozers ensuring precise and efficient material control and the ability to work to fine tolerances.
